Ecuador! but first Bogota.

We were very excited for our winter trip to Ecuador and were a bit disgruntled when COPA airlines switched our flight from 6pm to 6am. Talk about a long layover! We quickly became gruntled when we realized that 14 hours in Bogota would be just right- here is what we found.

I love street graffiti
We started at the Botero museum. Fascinating artist... and makes me feel incredibly slim.

Not Botero- Picasso
Next we took the teleferico up high to get a view of the city.

and it is a big city

Nothing says christmas like butterflies and flowers
Our last stop was due to a fantastic recommendation from Ian Heathcote: "go to the BBC"

Bogota Brewing Company- thanks Ian.

  1. Hola!
Loving reading about your Venezuela travels. Your school must still be on holiday--hope you're having a great time! If you have a second, I would greatly appreciate any recommendations on reliable travel/tour companies for Orinoco/Canaima/Roraima. I need to buy plane tix ASAP and would love any advice!
    Muchas gracias,
